In life I receive accolades and appreciation and to recognize and acknowledge that I am not the sole benefactor of the accomplishment is humbling. I wrote this to my coworkers to thank them for assisting me in accomplishing a completed assignment.

As I prepared to leave the office and thought about what I had not completed for today and proceeded to write done what was needed for tomorrow, I realized that life is a yesterday of incompleteness. So this writing was birth. Enjoy!!!
YESTERDAY
Yesterday has no tomorrow.
Tomorrow turns into another yesterday.
It is time past.
No reversal of life’s events.
No time to recapture.
No space to fill.
Time capsule memories of yesterday revealing hindsight wisdom for today.
So be wise in today,
Soon it will be a yesterday and tomorrow a reflection of today.
Yesterdays expire on different dates.
No one knows when their’s will end and tomorrow will be no more.

My godmother was ill and I began to think about what she had accomplished in her life. Then, I focused on me and several thoughts ran across my mind. I compiled those thoughts in this writing. Hope you enjoy.
THERE’S NO TURNING BACK
Before the eyes blink life can change.
Seconds commit to minutes and minutes to hours.
There’s no turning back.
Each exhale welcomes an inhale.
There’s no turning back.
The dew tells the earth it is a new day.
There’s no turning back.
The atmospheric pressures introduces a new season.
There’s no turning back.
Action, reaction, and no action.
There’s no running back..
Words spoken that hurt, abuse and tear down.
There’s no turning back.
Before the eyes blink life can change.
You can choose to turn those seconds that turn into minutes
and the minutes that turn into hours to a commitment to be a blessing to someone.
There’s no turning back.
You can choose to turn that exhale that welcomes an inhale into living life as if it was your last.
There’s no turning back.
The dew tells the earth it is a new day, this is your new dawning.
There’s not turning back.
The atmospheric pressures that introduces a new season is another opportunity to live in your purpose.

Action, reaction, and no action decide what you will add and subtract from your journey.
There’s no turning back..
Words spoken in wisdom that heal, inspire and encourage, instead of tearing down.
