There are times it takes me a while to fall asleep.  So I relax my mind by clearing my thoughts.

WHEN I GET TO YOU

Closing my eyes to sleep is like speeding cars on a race track.

I swiftly move around one thought after another to clear my mind to relax.

When I get to you, I slow down to love you with my thoughts.

Sleep until morn.

Have you ever missed the one you love, the one you share sensual intimate time with.  You imagined their anticipated presence the next time you saw him/her.  Relaxing in suspended time as you realize how you desire the next time.

NATURALISTIC SEDUCTION

I am like a volcano and the natural elements that inhabit me want to erupt.

I have been calm,

but when I close my eyes

I smell your skin locked in my senses.

I see your mesmerizing seductive eyes,

the contour of your lips,

the highness of your of your cheeks,

and the slop of your nose.

I see your smile that is welcoming me.

I feel the energy from you that has a gravitational pull that I succumb to.

I feel your hands that touch me in a place that sits high at my hips, that only you can touch.

As you caress the curve in my back, I feel my knees weaken to submission.

I taste the sweetness of the sugar cane juice from your mouth.

My mind anticipates the moment

I no longer control the release of the desire that I hold for you only.

For you only

will this passion flow.

For you only

will I give that

which can change the days that I have missed you.

Like a treasured time capsule

that holds memories when revealed,

so will your presence release unspoken desires

that only you know how to retrieve and only I know how to receive.

I look forward to enjoying the eruptions.

Naturalistic Seduction.

Love! Many of us have experienced it.  I wrote this poem based on stories from anyone who has shared with me their experiences of love, togetherness, and heartache, including mine.  The decision to stay or to depart.  The decision to work things out. The decision to stay amicable towards one another.  In several stories, I recall the exhibition of present love, however the persons in the relationship chose to show it.  One of my brothers, Fentress, loves to read this poem aloud using much  emotion.  He does the poem passionate justice as he recites it.

REMEMBERING US

When I think of you

I think of us

Whispers of melodic love songs…

“Easy, When I Fall In Love, Let’s Talk About It, You are My Sunshine, Brown Skin”

Need I say more

Conversations that comfort

Disagreements that blossom into beauty

Truths that hurt, but heal

Unspoken moments cradle us in love

Glimpses that are so seductively warm

Symbolic gifts that mirror our love

Stolen hours of secret passion that brands our hearts, souls, and minds

Looove…Sooo…Reeeal…

That even apart

We can smell the aromatic scents of one another as though the other is present

When we make love our way

It feels as though our beings entered the other and orchestrated passionate waltzes and exuberant sambas

We share awaken dreams of how our love truly is…

Full, unselfish, bold yet soft, honest, willing, forgiving, accepting the lovable embrace of apologetic symphonies, healing from our hands, loving from the inside out, respecting decisions of the other…

Umm! We loved!!!

When our love started to end, we embraced what love truly is to us

Our souls cried a deep mourning

Our tears flowed until dawn

We made our decision

Love truly is you…

My friend

This poem represents the intimacies of the earth and how it relates to human intimacy.  The earth romances all that inhabits it.  Relationships that allow each other to have mutual individuality, yet oneness with your mate can open the door for continual romance and growing passion.  Let your mind be free to receive the interpretation of this poem “SARRAS”(Setting and Rising, Rising and Setting).

SARRAS

You are the moon

I am the sun

As you rise I set

As I set you rise

Transitioning…

We breathe completely…

To inhale the other’s energies

And are renewed

The brief encounter tranforms a multitude of life cycles

Morning and Evening

Day and Night

Are ours continuously

Setting and rising

Rising and setting

We are one
